Authentication

Overview

All APIs provided by gIQ are secured and require appropriate permissions for access. To interact with any API, you will need either an access token or an API key, with the API key being the most commonly used method. Here's how you can generate an API key. This is how one can generate it.

API-Key generation Steps

• Login in gIQ app. https://giq.ae/

• Click on profile tab on top-right corner of the application

• Scroll Down and go to gIQ API Keys and click on Generate API Key button

• Click on Copy to Clipboard button and start using it.

You can use this token later to access any API. Please note that if you encounter an access issue, such as a 403 error, ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access the specific API. If not, contact the support team for assistance with permissions.
