Overview: Quick Image Acquisition

In the Image Acquisition sub-module, you can acquire the following types of imagery:

  • Optical: Visible light imagery for visual analysis, land cover mapping, and feature identification
  • SAR: All-weather, day-and-night imagery that can penetrate cloud cover

The platform serves as an interface between your organization and satellite imagery vendors, streamlining the end-to-end procurement process.

Accessing the Quick Image Acquisition Module​

The Quick Image Acquisition sub-module is part of the Acquire module.

To access the module, do the following:

  1. Login to the gIQ platform.

  2. Click the Acquire module, and then click the Image Acquisition sub-module.
