Mass Deletion Capability

This is a dangerous workflow! It allows for the deletion of a large number of files simultaneously. Therefore only users with a specific permission can access this.

The data search allows a user to search for data. It allows the user to specify exactly what type of data to search for. In this example we will delete some specific image files.

5. Click on ​data type​

6. Check on image​

This will show all files which have been ingested as a jpg or png image

8. Result​

All data which meets the criteria in the search field will now be available in the search results.

9. Select the specific file​

Multiple file selection is allowed, as is select all.

10. Click on Delete​

11. WARNING​

This is a dangerous action. It can not be undone.

12. Pop up​

A popup will appear in the window. It states that this page must be left open while the system deletes the files.

Navigating away from the page at this point will stop the deletion process, but any files which have already been deleted will not be recovered.

It is possible to do a more complex search by property. If you know the specific property name and the specific property, you can enter it here and then search.
