๐๏ธ Overview
Workspaces is the heart of the analytics in gIQ. It allows a user to organize their files thematically for easier use, and it allows for temporary processing. This allows the user to conduct analysis without cluttering the full exploration view.
๐๏ธ Workspace Toolbar
In this paragraph we will explain the basics of the workspace toolbar.
๐๏ธ Creating Workspaces
How to create a workspace.
๐๏ธ Creating a Story
Stories is a way of presenting exploited data and information. In this paragraph a step-by-step process is explained how to create a story, the attributes and options within the Story interface.
๐๏ธ Historical Imagery
Historical imagery feature allows you to see all the available data in a timeline. Only data with an acquisition date will be displayed. If you need to manually enter the acquisition date on your data, ensure that you refresh the page after doing so.
๐๏ธ Creating drawings in workspace
As the creation of drawings is an analytics workflow, the place to create and edit drawings is in the workspace. The workspace is the location for all file creation.
๐๏ธ Creating a Vector layer in Workspaces
---
๐๏ธ Image comparison
This option can be used for an optical image comparison on 2 different images from the same area of interest.
๐๏ธ Instruction for co-registration of images
All satellite imagery has a small error built in. This becomes much more apparent when you have two images at the same location. This error can affect tools such as change detection. This guide will show you how to co-register images
๐๏ธ Resampling
This will explain and show a step-by-step example how to resample imagery in gIQ.
๐๏ธ Navigating and Performing Actions in geotagged files video and Image Layers
---
๐๏ธ Union Vector Layers
The Union Vector Layers tool combines the two layers together as a seamless mesh and removes any overlapping geometry.
๐๏ธ Vector Layers Intersection
Intersect will results in a mesh created only in areas where the two layers overlap. The tool removes all sections of the two layers that do not overlap.
๐๏ธ Vector Layers Difference
Difference - Removes the background layer from the foreground layer to cut away any section of the foreground that overlaps with the background layer. The tool creates new faces to close the area where the background layer cuts through the foreground.
๐๏ธ Measure Lengh
---
๐๏ธ Measure Ground Length
---
๐๏ธ Measure 3D Objects
To measure 3D objects, you need to have added layers with 3D data in your Workspace
๐๏ธ Mosaicking
A mosaicked image can be created that is displayed from a mosaic dataset, comprised of a number of input raster's that are overlapping. Multiple raster inputs can be selected.
