The basic visualization options

This guide will demonstrate some of the basic options available to a user for the visualization on the globe map


1. Main features on your map window

  1. Search location, Enter/exit full screen, Adjust Globe and Base Layer Translucency.
  2. Zoom in/out, Reset Azimuth and Angle, Base map layer date and Coordinate system.
  3. Base layers.

2. Here you can search all locations on planet earth by either write the name or coordinates of the location.

3. Enter and exit full screen.

4. Adjust the Globe and Base Layer Translucency

5. Click +/- to zoom in and out

You can also zoom in and out by using scroll wheel and hold right mouse button.

6. Reset Azimuth and Angle

You can change the Azimuth and Angle, by holding down the scroll wheel on your mouse.

7. Base layer date and coordinate system

  1. Date of the base map
  2. Coordinates in LAT LONG decimal degrees
  3. Coordinates showing either LAT LONG degrees, minutes and second or MGRS.
  4. Use arrows to toggle between LAT LONG degrees, minutes and seconds and MGRS.
