Overview

What is gIQ? gIQ is a new, end-to-end, AI powered geospatial ecosystem to democratize analytics of geospatial data, enable SMEs to commercialize their work and for informed decision making.

Primary Stakeholders: All users, including basic users are primary stakeholders of the gIQ Platform.

The gIQ Platform is accessible via standard web browsers such as Chrome or Edge, facilitating seamless integration with both cloud-based and on-premises deployment environments.

User Training and Support: Comprehensive documentation is available at docs.giq.ae, offering users extensive guidance on utilizing the gIQ Platform. Additionally, personalized training sessions can be arranged upon request to address specific user needs and requirements.

1. Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for gIQ​

Within gIQ there are different modules, designed to provide users with a comprehensive platform for visualizing, acquisition and processing of geospatial data.

Depending on the version and admin rights of your gIQ platform, in general it will consist of the following modules, which can be found in the left tool bar:

  • Exploration
  • Workspaces
  • File manager
  • Jobs
  • Data acquisition
  • Models
  • AMD (Auto Model Development)
  • Reference data
  • Marketplace
  • Labs
  • Admin

2. Default graphic users' interfaces in gIQ​

Following graphic users' interfaces can be found within gIQ:

  • gIQ button: back to home screen
  • Notifications
  • Upload: will be explained in separate paragraph
  • Help: to access documentation, FAQ and contact support
  • Language: available languages are English and Arabic
  • User profile: will be explained in separate paragraph
