Mosaicking

A mosaicked image can be created that is displayed from a mosaic dataset, comprised of a number of input raster's that are overlapping. Multiple raster inputs can be selected.

1. Display the raster layers that you wish to process from your Workspace on your map​

Click on Toggle Visibility button to display the layers on the map.

2. In this example we have 3 orthophoto's in tif-extension.​

3. Click on the Raster Mosaicking button​

4. A Raster Mosaicking window will open​

5. Option to click on the i-button​

The new window will show you important information related to the mosaicking process.

6. After the layers are selected, click on Apply​

You have the option to change the name of the output layer. By default, the name is mosaic.

7. The new layer will appear in your Workspace​

Click on Toggle Visibility button to display the mosaic layer on the map.

8. Optional the new mosaic layer can be inspected on the displayed map​
