Mosaicking

A mosaicked image can be created that is displayed from a mosaic dataset, comprised of a number of input raster's that are overlapping. Multiple raster inputs can be selected.


1. Display the raster layers that you wish to process from your Workspace on your map

Click on Toggle Visibility button to display the layers on the map.

2. In this example we have 3 orthophoto's in tif-extension.

3. Click on the Raster Mosaicking button

4. A Raster Mosaicking window will open

5. Option to click on the i-button

The new window will show you important information related to the mosaicking process.

6. After the layers are selected, click on Apply

You have the option to change the name of the output layer. By default, the name is mosaic.

7. The new layer will appear in your Workspace

Click on Toggle Visibility button to display the mosaic layer on the map.

8. Optional the new mosaic layer can be inspected on the displayed map
