1.9.0 (07 January 2025)

Version 1.9.0 of gIQ focuses on bug fixes and some new features, primarily around user experience, data handling, and security.

New features include:

AOI (Area of Interest) Enhancements: New AOI page and improved AOI permissions.
Improved Navigation: A new navigation system has been implemented.
Workspace Upload Improvements: Added a top-level checkbox for "add to workspace" during upload.
Dashboard Enhancements: Added a bar chart for dashboards.
Search Functionality: Added a search bar to the boundary selector modal.
Progress Indicators: Improved progress indicators for inference, ingestion, and analytics jobs.
Technology Updates: Upgraded to NextJS 15.

Numerous bug fixes addressed issues with:

Numerous fixes related to data handling, including export/import of annotations, handling API changes for workspace uploads, and fixing issues with layer loading (infinite scrolling implemented).
Resolved several UI/UX bugs, such as preview/perspective view issues, navigation permissions, workspace selection, and rendering problems.
Addressed multiple security vulnerabilities identified by WAF (Web Application Firewall), including SQL injection and URL encoding issues.
