Managing Stories

In this section, you will get to know how to manage stories in the platform.

Publishing to Marketplace

You can only publish the stories that you own or you have created.

To publish a story, do the following:

1. Login to the platform.

2. Click the Collaborate module, and then click the Stories module.

The Stories Dashboard is displayed.

3. On the Stories Dashboard, locate the story that you want to pubish, click the More Options menu of the story, and then select the Publish on Marketplace option.

The Marketplace page is displayed.

4. Fill the details of the story and click Publish.

The story is successfully published on the marketplace.

Editing a Story

You add or remove story points, change the name and the logo and style of the story.

To edit a story, do the following:

1. Login to the platform.

2. Click the Collaborate module, and then click the Stories module.

The Stories Dashboard is displayed.

3. On the Stories Dashboard, locate the story that you want to pubish, click the More Options menu of the story, and then select the Edit option.

The Story page is displayed.

4. On the Story page do the following:

• Edit the story name
• Add or remove story points
• Edit the details of the story points namely description, add or remove media, and so on
• Edit the logo and style of the story

5. Click the Save Story Point button to save your changes.

Deleting a Story

You can permanently remove a story from the platform.

To delete a story, do the following:

1. Login to the platform.

2. Click the Collaborate module, and then click the Stories module.

The Stories Dashboard is displayed.

3. On the Stories Dashboard, locate the story that you want to pubish, click the More Options menu of the story, and then select the Delete option.

The Delete Story dilog box is displayed.

4. In the Delete Stroy dilog box, click the Delete button to permanently delete the story.

note

You cannot retrieve a story once it is permanently deleted .

Searching Stories

You

To search a story, do the following:

1. Login to the platform.

2. Click the Collaborate module, and then click the Stories module.

The Stories Dashboard is displayed.

3. On the Stories Dashboard, type the partial or full name of the story in the Search box.

The platform instantly starts displaying the stories that partially or fully match the name of the story.

Sorting Stories

You can sort and view all the stories by using one of the many sorting options.

To search a story, do the following:

1. Login to the platform.

2. Click the Collaborate module, and then click the Stories module.

   The Stories Dashboard is displayed.

3. On the Stories Dashboard, click the Sort drop-down list, and then select one of the following options:

Filter	Description	Example
Created (Most Recent → Oldest)	Displays the newest stories first, moving back in time.	A story created yesterday appears before one created last week.
Created (Oldest → Most Recent)	Displays the earliest stories first, moving forward in time.	A story created in 2020 appears before one created in 2022.
Alphabetically (A → Z)	Lists stories in ascending alphabetical order by title.	“Annual Report” appears before “Monthly Update.”
Alphabetically (Z → A)	Lists stories in descending alphabetical order by title.	“Monthly Update” appears before “Annual Report.”
Updated (Most Recent → Oldest)	Displays stories by their last update, newest first.	A story edited today appears before one updated last month.
Updated (Oldest → Most Recent)	Displays stories by their last update, oldest first.	A story last edited in 2020 appears before one edited in 2023.

Filtering Stories

You can find a specific story in the platform by using one of the many filtering options.

To search a story, do the following:

1. Login to the platform.

2. Click the Collaborate module, and then click the Stories module.

   The Stories Dashboard is displayed.

3. On the Stories Dashboard, click the Filters drop-down list and select one of the following options:

Sort	Description	Example
Created by (username)	Sorts or filters stories based on the user who created them.	View only stories created by Alice.
Created Date (From–To)	Sorts or filters stories within a specific date range.	Show stories created between Jan 1, 2024 and Mar 31, 2024.
